Colors are my favorite. I like to fish them in lakes that have fish in them.

I like white blades, they are not used much. On tannic stained water, white balde with a brown skirt is something fish don't see much. I like white/white in shad based lakes that are not clear and silver blades with white in lakes with good clarity. There is still something to be said about silver blades with a black body, I have a couple boat partners that throw the double 8 shumway flashers and they always seem to bring up a fish.

It's called sarcasm. I can only read so many "what's your favorite color" posts before it happens. No mention of what color for what water/ weather conditions, time of day or year. Just "What's your favorite colors" The question was asked so I answered. ToddM read into it and gave an insightful answer to a lazy question. I'm not as good of a man as ToddM (secretly he already new that).

My favorite is definitely green and black. Never caught a fish on that color, but I like the way it looks!

Unfortunately for me, brown skirt with copper blades seems to work very well at catching fish. But I don't like brown. No brown shoes, no brown pants, or brown shirts, not even brown socks. Brown is a color that belongs on poop and nothing else. But those stupid muskies seem to like brown colored baits. They do it just to torment me, I swear they know how much I hate brown...
