Posts: 646 Location: In a shack in the woods | no, but i have a homemade with like a size 14 or 15 blade that is single. im sure it would work fine. just a little less lift and more of a thump and vibration in your hands

Posts: 742 Location: Grand Rapids MN | I have an Inhaler with their style 'flashbou' and a single ten blade. The single blade doesn't flare the skirt like the double tens. It just lays down flat like a regular 'tail. I swear it pulls harder than the double ten I have of the same Inhaler bucktail. I picked it up middle of last summer and haven't used it much so I can't comment on how effective it is but people have been catching fish on single bladed 'tails for years so I'm sure fish will eat it.

Never tried though. if you are talking about the t rex by man cave bait company it is a huge light bait, not huge blade. 16" only 3 oz but has 2 double 8 blades on it

Posts: 646 Location: In a shack in the woods | i have one of these blades on the lure i mentioned earlier in this post. i bought it at my local tackle shop for $25, some guy in the area makes them. i have been trying to figure out what size blade it is. the lure was too light and kept pulling out of the water on retrieve. if i can run it just right the blade comes out of the water just enough to make a plop on the surface. like i said though it was too light. i chopped it apart and added weight over the winter. now i can give it a fair try this season. here is a pic. can anyone tell me the size blades on the black lure in the picture? i did catch a 38" on it last fall. only used it 2 or 3 times. they are next to a dcg if that helps. thanks Attachments ---------------- bucks.jpg (185KB - 91 downloads)
