Location: Lebanon,Mo | Has anyone else had problems with there boat trailer making those noises? I know it's the leafsprings,cause it only does it when the boat bounces from rough roads or my driveway.My last trailer did the same thing on my Lund.I have no grease zerks on the leaf mounts,so do I spray a tacky silicone lub??? Any thoughts??? |

Location: W. PA. | Spray silicone will help but you will have to do it every trip. Pulling the attachment bolts and greasing the plastic bushings with silicone grease (dielectric grease is the same thing) is the best thing to do. If the trailer is a few years old you may want to replace those bushings, they usually wear out on one side. |

Location: Elk River, Minnesota | Just spray a bit of WD-40 on the joints...the product will penetrate the joint and lube it, ending your squeaks..

| I used wd40 or jigalube spray too on my old trailer and it worked for a trip or two before needing another hit. It squeeked so bad I am sure it woke up my neighbours as I headed out at 4AM!!! |

Location: Stevens Point, WI | Better yet, go with plain cooking spray. Cheap and much more eco friendly when putting your trailer in the water. I use it on my bunks too. |
