Anybody here purchased the Okuma trolling combo sold in Bass Pro - rod #SMDR-862-30D and reel #SM-30D? Looking for some feedback prior to purchasing. Thanks in advance.

The reel you are talking about is the Magda with an aluminum spool and the Convector oversized handle. I'm sure you can search Magda on this website and get opinions from a lot of people.

I would be interested to hear about how well that rod works for musky trolling. Looks like it would be a pretty good price if the rod works well.
