| I have two Lowrance 520-C's with external gps and I am wondering if I should use both gps pucks or use just one?
Also is it possible to use just one transducer or does this cause problems?
I would appreciate any help.
Thanks |

| You can network the units to work off one puck, but you'll need a separate transducer from what I understand. Do a search on this stuff, pretty sure it has been covered.

Location: Wisconsin | You can network transducers but will need the broadband unit. The GPS can be networked with a networking kit using one puck. Most use the rear transducer for one and the trolling motor for the other on the ducer. Remember to only power the network at one point, sometimes the lowrance manuals are light in this info..... |

Location: Stevens Point, WI | In order to use one transducer, only thing you need is an Ethernet cable. Connect this cable that has yellow ends and plug those into the back of the unit.
As for the pucks, I suggest using just one of them and carrying your other one for a backup. Keeping the spare in a hidden place or in the house if your not on a body of water your gps dependent. |
