Random quote: Dolhins are so smart that with a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish..

Rob, as everyone else has said, very nice work.
There would certainly be a market out there but ever considered carving just a head section? I think there would be a market using the head sections as presentation trophies, hell I'd have one for my pike anglers group (have to be pike color though).

With all those hours into it, are you using kiln dried lumber ?

I has some time this weekend to draw it up. I wanted to do something a little different with this one, tail down with a closed mouth. This one tapes out at 67". I'm going to paint it into a Minnesota heavy weight. I had to glue an extra piece of wood at the bottom to get the shape for this one. I'll probably be working on it off and on for the next 2 months.

This is a rare piece of musky art work. I’d bet there are not any other examples of a carved wooden musky of this size and detail. The paint ‘mistake’ is what makes this one special. I think it looks better than most replicas (from an art perspective). I’ve carved many 2D muskies and I am sure that a ton of time and effort went into this one. You should not sell it since it is your first one. However, if you were to sell it… $3000 - $5000 is a reasonable price range.

That is AWESOME...

Personally; I would love to have one of those for the house. What a great alternative to a graphite replica...

Keep following that talent man and let us know where/when we can place orders.

58"??? I could believe 52, but there is no way that thing is 58. And don't get me started on not releasing it.

Seriously though, EXCELLENT work. A truly impressive piece of art.
