i use alot of poppers for bass and just picked this one up at cabelas to try for muskie. i think it might be a good throw back lure or on calm days. has anyone tried this or any other brand popper?

I've used the AHL one that walks the dog. First cast with it I had a follow. I think it's called a j-walker.

http://www.musky-lures.com/!!jwalkerpage.htm I've seen them pretty often for half that price on the for sale board on this site. The nice thing is, if you screw up the cadence walkin' the dog, it still does something..pop! I'll have to throw mine more this season.

Thanks for the site. I was thinking about making something just like this. I use the luckycraft poppers for
Smallies. They walk the dog and pop. I hadn't seen anything like this for musky though untll now.

I think Mark Windels made the original version of that lure..or one close to it. I don't think they've been around for a while so maybe that's why AHL started making them. ???
