Location: Columbus, Georgia | This may be the same guy. Here he is fishing for Marlin by jumping from a helicopter right on to the fish!

Location: Almond, WI | It is the same guy and he is amazing. He was on Letterman pretty recently and is very dedicated to conservation, catch and release, and habitat protection/restoration when it comes to billfish and other ocean predators. |

| Interesting video but dumb to the first order. No ability to handle or get the hooks out of these fish, basically they all end as cutoffs. I question the validity of the helicopter jump down on the fish. Marlin really cover a lot of water in a short period of time, and you have to remember they had a cameraman on that fish before he jumped, ie in the water. Now how did that happen with a moving fish. Think it hung around the cameraman and waited for him to jump on it?
Entertaining, but keep doing that short line, in the water thing and pretty soon we will hear about a "marlin fishing fatality". |
