A lot of ways to work it but my favorite is to just use long pulls like a bobbie ...

I also use long pulls from 11 o'clock to 5 o'clock, then mix it up with some short twitches and pauses.

I fish squirlys alot but they seem to work better when the water temp gets warmer,,,For some reason the thicker titanium leaders seem to make them work better, and if you get one that runs to one side all the time take your hook file and file the oposite sides top of the nose at an angle..I pop mine with alot of slack that way it makes the bait surge forward and to the side
