| I have decided to upgrade, my plan is to run one unit on my console. Is the 7" screen make that much of a difference with the split screen? I am worried I wont be able to see the 5" from the bow where I run my boat. Anybody run a 5" on there console only? I have a 17ft boat. Any issues with detail? Thanks |

Location: Duluth, MN | Yea the 7" screen does make a big difference. I bought the 27c last year. I run split screen with Lakemaster chip on one side and sonar on the other. Couldn't be happier....but can't imagine doing it with a 5 inch screen. The HDS units look nice but i'd go with the bigger screen. |

Location: Not Where I Want To Be | The BIGGER Screen is the only way to go. I have a 28 and 510 on the dash and a 522 0n the bow and wish i just would of put a 27 Or another 28 up on the bow.
My 2 cents |

Location: Kodiak, AK | It does make a difference. I swapped out a 334 on my bow for a 27C mostly for the sake of the screen. Also to match my 25 on the console, but those two inches make a big difference. |
