I've been putting off the inevitable for a long time, but I can't put it off any longer. Carpal tunnel surgery on my right hand Feb.23, and my left hand 3 weeks later if all goes well. That's alright, it will give me time to think and come up with some more ideas that I can work on when I'm mended.

Beav,

I wish you luck with the surgery...better to have it now than in the middle of season I guess! Hope the surgery/recovery goes well.

Same Beav, hope everything goes great with it and you'll be back in no time. My mom had both wrists done after years of being a seamstress and it hasn't bothered her for a long while. Good luck.

Beaver,

A friend of mine is in between surguries right now. He had his left hand done two weeks ago and his right hand surgury is coming up in a week or two. Surguries are never fun, but in the long run they are the way to go. Like someone else said, better now than in the middle of the season. I'm going to miss seeing your lures. If it will cheer you up, I'll post some pics of mine soon. I have about 40 that I'm working on!

Well, had the right hand done on Monday Feb.23-the stitches came out today and everything is good. Doing the left hand a week from tomorrow. Took much less time and feels better faster than I imagined.
Maybe I'll schedule my plastic surgery right away too.

No Nip/Tuck for you, you old fart. If they took all the wrinkles out, you wouldn't be able to wiggle your toes anymore.
