| Hey I have a regular burt and I was wondering how much it would affect the action if I changed out the back treble for a small spinner, or if I added a grub to the treble.
Thanks for the help. |

All you can do is try it. If it doesn't work then just take it off and put the hook back on. |

Location: Grand Rapids MN | I've thought about doing that to a 'custom' weighted one I made this winter. I ended up chopping of the back half and making it a squirrly model. I think it would work great and be a little different. The Burt isn't much of (or considered) a glider so a spinner for grub wouldn't hurt the action. I have spinners on my suicks like that and it just adds a little more flash and movement. Give it a shot and let us know how it worked out. |

Location: Rhinelander. | When you do changes like that to non glide baits add a lttle lead to the front hook to prevent the unwanted roll. Its easy to do.
