Location: SE Wisconsin | Here's a question for Mike if he ever views this thread. . . You're blue/white camo t-shirt that I see you where so often when you're fishing. . . Could the significance be the break up of your profile, blending in with the sky so to speak? Now I'm thinking about sparkles on boats. . . Could it be more than materialistic? Perhaps the sparkle shimmers like water, such that it to could have a distorted profile that benefits fisherman.

I think there might be a way to do it, but it requires a costly item... roughly $100 to buy a jack that allows you to hook up video cords from the DVR to your computer. Not sure If I'm going to pull the trigger on that one, but it sure would be nice to get some of that stuff off of the DVR and not go to a VCR... I'm still working on it, so I won't give up yet... Posts: 202 | I have to agree the Bad River show was one of the most entertaining fishing shows I have seen in some time. Well done all around. As for the Wildlife Energy Drink it is no longer available. Sad to see it leave.

Posts: 999 | My favorite episode is still the November one with Jason Hamernick on Mille Lacs! I dont think there was ever a show were there was two 40 lb fish videotaped in the same day and 47" to boot. The way the captured that boatside action was just awesome!

I have the tournament episodes recorded on DVD.Problem is that other DVD players do not recognize the recorded format. I was able to watch the DVD on my PC though.

Posts: 83 | Keyes does a great job of making you feel the excitement. They convey the experience better than anybody. Challenging the weather, and being rewarded with a big fish, or up a remote river, they put you there. The Touranaments are a lot tougher for TV than a bass tournament. BASS has a formula where they follow the leaders boats, and there is at least a little drama at the weigh in. Sending the camera man, and an interviewer, as muskie-addict mentioned, might be better. You could maybe get a decent short segment.

Posts: 202 | Actually I just don’t sleep! Who has time for those luxury activities? When you make your money in this industry sleep is not something you do all that well. Last night and this one I have been up working on a seminar I am doing for a few musky clubs. Musky First is where I go when I take a break.

Actualy Spencer is a true party animal first and formost as a second passion he tries to catch the ocasional musky. You should see him at the tournaments ( lamp shades and all ) I can only imagine what he is like when the season is closed Hell of a guy if you have never met him he is worth looking up. I would not mind going to one of his seminars either.

Posts: 15 | I have never had Dish Network - so I cannot speak for that system -but if you get DirecTV and get a package that has the Sportsman's package - you get all the FoxSportNets around the country so you could view Keyes Outdoors on Fox Sports Net North. I watch Lindner from the Fox Ohio station and even watch some New York shows this way. What happens later in the day is if those FoxSports channels are airing local professional sports - they are blacked out for the few hours the games are on. Hope this helps... John

As for the seminar thing there is one easy way to make that happen. If your in muskies Inc tell your chapter to contact me. I would love to come and act like I know what these silly fish are up to for a while. Thanks for the support

Posts: 244 Location: Mallard Island Lake Vermilion MN | Good show most times when I have seen it. Don't like something I see...just flip it off or go outside wrastle with me four hounds.....maybe just grill me somthin. Not much for watchen stuff on tube about fishen...for sure if it don't have monsters or beautiful women in it. Most fishers on TV full of themselfs or pimping fancy trendy crap. Boring to the max. Just young guys having fun doing what they love to do while they can. Cool they get to enjoy something like thier own show....not to many out there trying to do that. Be a LOT better if they did not use the guides.........just go find the lake, river, then have fun and hunt up what ever it is your fishen for. Fish on or not...at least the viewers get the real deal an you gave it yer best shot. Dump the guide pimping stuff an less on air promotiin of friends products. Figure by now they should be pretty good fishers of muskie fish...they are over 18. This stuff aint that hard to figure out...just getting them to bite can be.....not much different that chasing women...but fun trying...so film it. But then that is what pays way for show...so "it is" as the drunk who got his 6th DWI says."wat it is." More power to them for trying to do the best they can an have fun doing it. Tommy
