Spools are the same diameter, just that the spool and frame are wider.

I asked Abu that question and they said ALL of the ones out last year were taken off the shelves for the upgrade. I hope it's true because I did buy one off of e bay.

seeking 54, I did do some trolling with the T60 but not a lot by any means. I don't really see the need for a low profile for a rod that sits in a rod holder and gets trolled with.
