I have a G&M shad and it is a great bait when it's running right but seems to go out of tune really easily. Are there any secrets to keeping it running right, or is it just one of those baits that needs constant attention?

Check the diving lip. I had one that had the lip loosen up, after I epoxied it , it ran fine.
