I just bought one (with dbl 8 blades, I'm pretty sure that's the model) and to me it seems kind of long to only have one hook on it. Anyone have any problems with hooking percentage or do they eat these pretty good?

Great bait for sure. I too had some concerns about only 1 hook so I made a few mods. I upsized and shrink tubed the rear hook(Eagle Claw 5/0 774) and added a 4/0 774 between the 2 ties of marabou via split rings. I have never heard of poor hooking with the bait, I just can't leave well enough alone. Clients and I have caught lots of fish on these after dark. Oh yeah, I used to cut off one of the blades too. A different "thump" with the single #8. The name of this bait in my boat is "money".
