| This year I tried a Mepps Musky Killer in all bright pink based on a MF testimonial I saw posted sometime back in the winter. I just can't believe how hot that bait has been; I've caught 3 muskies, a whole bunch of pike and a couple big bass on that thing. It's on fire, in both clear and murky water.
What's been your hot bait so far this year? Any surprises?
Thanks. |

| The Doc in perch pattern, It is an exceptionally good lure but I haven't landed one with it yet but I get closer everytime. Everytime I'm out and I throw It I see a follow or a blowup at least. |

| It would have to be TODDM's spinners. Absolutly awesome.

| Large jointed depthraiders(perch and sucker) and i've had alot of follows on a Baby Shadytail (orange blade w/black and orange skirt) had a pig bite the twister tail off the back of it the other day.

| I hooked a Muskie on a Pig Jr. Perch color. And had a few nice follows on my VERY used 9" Black Suick ( still my favorite one ).

| It's been a goofy spring because everything has been so late in getting going. But I would have to say that the 6" phantom was the mover and shaker for many a musky this past spring. But I'm guessing in the next couple weeks that will be changing. Especially with the new arsenal that I've been so graciously been bestowed upon me!!! I'll let you know the bait once I give a skie a canker sore this weekend!
catch ya on the flip side,

| A prototype from Slammer.....thats all I can say![;)] |
| |
| I've had a great start to the season, with 4 of my 6 coming on a Mepps Tandem Giant Killer. The 4 fish on this bait have averaged an impressive 43". |

| First off...I have seen that Prototype Slammer in action and it looks HOT!!!!!!! Speaking of which...BILLY! You need a field tester here in Mad-town! Something perch or bright chartruse type....well I guess it doesn't hurt to wish!
So far this season a squirko (suprise to me!) has been my go to bait.

| Ok, everyone throw something heavy at me....an 8" Irridescent Blue Perch Hughes River Shaker. 11 fish, 4 over 40", and missed a 45" on it. Then it was set free by a bad backlash....went flying, and flying and flying. Resorted to trying to paint a new 8", killed the action. But have 2 fish on the 6" Shaker (thank you again SJonesi!), but the big GIRLS are just lookin. Check with me in a month, I have faith my tune will be of a different nature.

| Slamr,
The "Daily Dose" Right[]
Kinda has a ring too it.....hmmmm |

| Just wrote a long, semi-incriminating post about the name Daily Dose, but retracted it. Many of you should thank me for that. (and YES, this is one of those "clique-ish" insider M1st things for you detractors. As my mom said about all the kids that called my brother fat when he was growing up: YOU'RE JUST JEALOUS!!!)
My vote is also for the name Daily Dose by the way.

| I probobly shouldn't let it out, but for me its been the super stalker and the doc. The doc drives the fish crazy...as esox14 said, we always get a blowup or follow on them. Also, the super stalker in fire perch is really nice. I had on hit on an 8 (that came out of nowhere) the third cast with it. I caught my first of the year on it, but now its tail got bitten off (without me feeling a strike) So it has half a tail and a ton of teeth marks now. |

| Thanks for the plug JimK! For me it's been the TR Twitcher. |

| I've had the most action so far on a walleye flavored Undertaker. Brand new to me this year and I've been impressed.

| Bluegill Shallow Raider has caught or raised most of my fish this year (except for the traps at the Cave). Although my hot little bait and others for that matter have been a little cold lately. 32 hrs of casting, think I saw one 30 hrs ago, they are still green right?? Not complaining too loudly, as long as the next fish I see or catch is as big as my first fatty of the year.[] [] |

| Its a toss up between the undertaker and the new DB GS Slammer glider. They both move and catch big fish. |
| |
| I gave my first ski of the year a kanker sore with a Rip-N-Glide!!! The little bit its been in the water this season, it has moved some big fish for me and my buddies. If MRoberts didn't have a case of "lose 'em itus" it would have a 30 pounder to its credit already too. Keep your chin up Mike!! |

| And Mr JLong, how does one get a "RipNGlide"? STILL not saying that I intended to pay for one....

| The Ciscokid (go figure). Oh yeh, the Ernie and Bagley DB06 as well. Oh heck, just plain Crankbaits. Can't pick just one because they all have been moving fish in certain situations. |

| For me it's a shutout LOL I only started to fish last Thursday and all my fish (36,30.5,50,40) came on a black/silver spinnerbait. There was also 3 more fish in my boat 2 (36,31) from a black/orange spinnerbait and one 29 incher from a black/chartruce chickadee(sp). [:sun:]
I knew this was going to be a great year LOL and my season starts in 3 days, I can't wait. [:p] [:p] |

| Shallow Raiders, Jakes, and Grandmas during the day.
Jackpots at night. What a rush!! |

| So far its been a toss-up between Baby Shallow Raider and a Perch Jerko. Moved all of my bigger fish on the Jerko. |

| firetiger squirko for #'s, and the old reliable black hawg wobbler got me my first legal... love that lure! |

| My hottest bait this year has been the Little Ernie in the Rainbow pattern. I caught my first muskie ever this year on it. |
