Just giving everyone a heads up.The State Fair people scheduled the custom car show the same time as the musky show. I love cool cars, but it might make it hard to park.

I think the last few years there was the home show at the same time as well. They will tell you where to park when you pay for your parking. If you are looking to park for free, the side roads may be full though.

i vote we put the guy from Glowin Outdoors, in a gorilla suit, and have him stand out by the street with a sign saying "musky show this way"

I remember one year having to park on the racetrack. There is always another show going on there, plenty of buildings. The track was blocked off in spots, could not make some laps.

Treat this post as constructive criticism. Traditions are hard to break but I would like to see the musky expo move out of state fair. Parking sucks and having to pay for it is ridiculous. I've heard vendors complain about the excessive prices for a booth at these shows and for milwaukee the pain-in-the-you-know-what for parking their rigs that haul their items for the show. I'm sure other places in the milwaukee area would be glad to host an event like ours. Look at Chicago's show and the old location in Blaine for the Minnesota show -- plenty of FREE parking close to the facility. Chicago even has designated parking for the vendors and their trailors. Who are the organizers and what would it take to get this even moved for 2010 and beyond? I love attending the show but hate the inefficiencies and expense of the Milwaukee show at the state fair grounds.

I agree with you D2Bucktail..... I would like to see moved, maybe to the Waukesha Expo. There's great restraunts and hotels in the area and the parking wouldn't be any problem.

i have been there the past 2 years and never been told where to park. the parking sucks. its never been easy to find a place to park. just drive around till you find a place you think your car will fit and try it.
