Posts: 223 Location: Victoria,MN | I made a new friend about a month ago, A dyed in the wool Walleye guy who had not fished in a few years and has never fished for or caught a muskie. Bob, who is 81 , and I try to get out fishing once a week and when we go out it's pretty laid back, we may cast on 3 or 4 spots in an afternoon. He always brings a little dinner, consisting of corned beef on rye, garlic stuffed olives an apple and bananna. Bob boated his first ski on Sept 24th We had a fish follow about an hour earlier and decided to leave her alone until prime time. Well I was just about to call it a night when Bob yelled "I got her" and I saw the fish tailwalking 15' from the boat, I felt that I couldn't get to the net fast enough. The second she was in the net he let out a hoot. A very healthy 46" fatty. (He says he needs a better photographer) Edited by T-Bone 10/26/2008 1:38 PM Attachments ---------------- Muskie Pics 001.jpg (229KB - 122 downloads)

Posts: 223 Location: Victoria,MN | It has been my pleasure getting to know Bob, he is always upbeat and positive. I never gave the bananna thing a second thought, who knows how well we may have done. Attachments ---------------- Muskie Pics 001.JPG (227KB - 117 downloads)
