Subject: French Lake report

Fished French Lake on Saturday. No fish, but a couple observations. The weed growth is already extreme, so bad that they have already started cutting. Lots of floating weeks. Made the fishing pretty frustrating. Did talk to one group of guys who caught a 30" fish. He said that they saw some others on the point on the north side of the lake.

Subject: French Lake report

Fished today on a very windy French Lake. Winds from the SSE at about 20mph. This was my first time over there. I did notice a lot of weed growth. I only have a 14" Lund so I stayed and fished some areas on the South part of the lake. Caught 1 that measured 23" nothing to brag about, but it was my first musky caught while actually musky fishing (caught 1 walleye fishing about 15 years ago). This is my first year to the sport of musky fishing so it was exciting none the less. Can't wait to get out again.[:)]
