| 2nd Annual Rick Meverden Memorial Kids Outing June 27, 2009
Caldon Falls Bar 8:00- 12:00 with Lunch , Raffles and Prizes provided after the fishing on Caldron or High Falls WI
Last year we had an excellent time on Caldron and High Falls.(Hosted by Caldron Falls Bar)
We had 17 guides and 34 young fisherman and ladies.
contests were held for:
largest musky(release only)
northern pike
bass
walleye
panfish
we had some nice fish caught- 2 musky caught by my nephew Zach-(thanks to guide jeremy van ert) and several others.
all kids had a great time and all won at least 3 raffle prizes.
the generous "Guides" also won prizes and were helped with gas money by the Awesome Meverden Family
we would like to get the ball rolling for this year.
so im asking for:
guides- someone willing to take 2-3 kids out in their boats fishing for 4 hours(insurance is provided by the Titletown Chapter of Muskies Inc.)
kids: from 5-17 yrs. old- guarenteed awesome time fishing
raffle prizes- last year some awesome companies stood up to the plate and whacked a homerun for some kids in Ricks memory.
