I want to know what brand and specs. on a good jerk bait or all purpose musky rod. Price range $80-140. I want one good quality rod. I need advice. | |||

Location: Des Moines IA | If you can only have 1 musky rod. I would recommend the Okuma 8'6 XH. It's a high quality rod, lifetime warranty, and wil handle the majority of musky lures. | ||

Posts: 968 Location: N.FIB | if you go to any of the shows you can look at the rods then,look at a few that people suggest and then buy.one thing is the warranty info,st croix has great customer srevice when it comes to that,you can`t go wrong buying a st croix.I have only heard that from friends,I`ve never had one of my st croixs break or have a problem with them. | ||

Posts: 16 | I would agree with the compre. I have both the heavy and the extra heavy, both 8' and can't complain. Shimano customer service is also exceptional. | ||
