Whats a good bucktail press? Looking for something to do to pass some time this winter.

I worded the above post wrong. What would be a good vise for tieing buctails? Is the boggs tackle maker able to hold a coil while you tie or is just for looping wire? Seen it in the Rollie & Helen's catalog. Or would a fly tieing vise be better suited for coils? I don't know nothig.

Get yourself one with a needlenose visegrip attached they can clamp to a table or bench or can be held in your bench vise. I make my own with the help of the welder at work, 4" c-clamp from the dollar bin at the hdwre store, 12" long X 3/8" square stock and a needlenose vise-grip. A word of caution tho remove the spring in the vise-grip when welding and replace after tool cools.
