Random quote: Its all fun and games 'till someone gets an eye poked with a 4/0 hook, then its just one-eyed fun and games.

Fox River Valley Chapter of Muskies Inc is Pleased to present guide and lure maker Lee Tauchen. Lee will talk about his year on the big pond of Mill lacs. He will also be willing to share thoughts on lure building. Lee has a strong knowledge of the Madison area lakes and in recent years has been building his knowledge of Minnesota lakes during the hot summer months. To learn more about Lee visit his website: www.leetauchen.com

December's meeting will be held on Wednesday December 10th, 2009. The optionable Buffet will start at 6:00 pm and the general meeting will begin at 7:00 pm. This meeting is at Poplar Creek Country Club in Hoffman Estates. Lure Swap in December too!

Here is a map to our location:

As has been the FRV tradition, there will be a Lure Swap prior to the general meeting. This is a great time to pick up some new baits cheaply and/or unload some of the ones that are not a good fit for you. Contact Jimmy Z by e-mail ([email protected]), if you'd like some space to trade at this meeting.

We are also taking donations of non-perishable food items to donate to the Elgin food pantry for battered women.
