So I havn't really heard anything about the howie, has anyone had some success using them? Also were can I get howie and how much do they cost?

I havent made any of those since the shows last year.

They wont be available in retailers next year, but I will likely be making a batch sometime this winter. Watch MuskieMojo.com or MuskieFirst for those baits.

I know of a decent number of fish caught on them last year. Biggest was a WI 49.5 caught pretty early in the year.

I saw 51 inch muskie caught on a Howie in one of the most spectacular boatside strikes I have ever seen.

it's also available in a 3-piece version.
adding the middle section really increased the noise, it clunks pretty loudly even when worked s-l-o-w...
