Posts: 413 Location: Madison WI | I just went to the bait store the other day and I saw some bucktails with blade sizes of # 8, 10 and 12's that had a brass piece on the collar that supposedly emitted sonic vibrations that attracted fish. Has anyone seen these or used them at all?

Nice flash and on the tandems I add weight to the wire shaft so I can either burn them or get them down deeper. Not to forget about windy days I can just bomb these with that added weight. As for the bell, I don't know if it gives off any extra sound or if it helps with line twist but I like the overall set up and their are priced lower than most.

Posts: 413 Location: Madison WI | Yep they are at my local bait shop in Madison Wi, which is wierd because we are always the last to get new baits, hell we don't even have havana jacks yet... I might just go buy some tomorrow and put them up on here.

I don't understand why MEPPS have not got into BIG BLADES ???? Mepps has a very interesting big double blade lure in the chute. it's tough to be unique with bucktails, but they've managed to do something diffferent. i'm hoping they're out at the shows this winter...

Posts: 413 Location: Madison WI | I threw mine out last night just messing around with it and it looked very sick in the water and the pull of the 12's wasn't that bad at all.

Posts: 413 Location: Madison WI | I wanted to make a correction to my original post as it has an error in it, Blue fox isn't making size 8's at least not that I saw they have #7's #10's and #12's
