Hopefully on the Madison chain as long as the lines at the boat launches aren't 30 deep like last weekend...

In my garage prepping for my LOTW trip, new hooks, splits, line, and everything in between. Cant go fishing this weekend as far as I know, unless the wife goes shopping!

Finally a couple days I can fish.

Pelican Friday evening if the weather allows. Saturday, it's fishing pike, bass, and crappies with Sue. Sunday, Moen, Julia, and maybe another puddle, we'll have to see.

Phillips again, this time with the wife. Not to much fishing this weekend, but we'll see if we can get into one.

Just sticking to a few lakes around the house. Hopefully there is a little breeze so the followers won't turn away 10' from the boat like last weekend.

Jerome....I'm thinking about you man. Feel sorry for you, I really do. But just keep the picture of Vermilion on a nice, cool fall day with ciscoes breaking the surface on your mind and it'll be worth the wait!!!
I'm headed to Canada tomorow with my dad, brother, along with my dad's friend and his young son who are bass/walleye fishing. Our boat will be splitting time between Crow Lake and LOTW - Nestor Falls area. Good luck to everyone who's able to get out this weekend; enjoy the outdoors.
For those of you headed to Vilas County, the fish are really starting to turn on. Not a whole lot as far as patterns...you'll find fish on all different structure/depths and there's no secret baits right now. We got 3 on curly sues and 1 on a hawgteaser the past two days and moved several more on jerkbaits and topwater.
Go catch a big one and release her!

Yep, the last Rhinelander Muskie League proved that out. A 46 and several near 40 were caught on every presentation out there, and the bite will surely improve over the next few weeks. This guy caught another( he has a 51 this year too), and his partner got the 46...

Very pretty fish. I'll be heading back home to Chippewa County, but the boat isn't coming along, so no fishing for me this weekend. I am going to try to get out tomorrow evening for a few hours if the weather allows. It's been tough for me lately but the slow fishing has to break some time!

I hate to rehash old stories, so please tell me this injury wasn't fishing related.
