I have to replace the seats and the posts and bases on a boat I had just purchased,I am just wondering if anyone could recommend a seat /post/base that they were happy with......There are so many to choose from it is a little confusing. Thanks Jr.

Springfield aluminum posts and bases, Atwood seats in the aftermarket for me. Look into Shockmaster posts, too, out of Grand Rapids, MN.

Be careful on the seat posts to get those that are properly rated for the application. Class A-D seat posts are made for the Driver, A-P for passenger, Class B seat posts (hydraulic risers) are rated for under 5 mph. Didn't know this until I got popped by Watercraft. m
