Location: Twin Cities | Spent Saturday casting all day, moved 8-9 fish, had one get off trying to net alone. Then the steering cable snapped on my boat and kinda left me stranded. Borrowed a buddies boat today for a total bust, went back to the same area looking for the same pattern and didn't find it. Couldn't troll well, he doesn't have rod holders. It was definitely borderline too cold, should've brought suckers with! Hoping others did better and for next weekend to be better!

Posts: 30 | Got a 40" (my son). To the guys in the Princecraft out on the Bay, thanks for helping out with the board. I will buy you a beer at lunch (most likely before the end of the season). Fish got into 4 other lines.Took 20 minutes to cut all the lines. Nice smooth release.

Location: New Albany, Ind. | Got this 47 yesterday is my PB to date. She drilled a 8" super believer at boatside, didnt see her at all. First one I have hooked in the figure 8 a double bonus. Three years ago when I started musky fishing , hate to admitt it but kept them. Most awesome part of catching her was watching her jet off what a great feeling. Thanks everyone for teaching catch and release it works. Realize I'm holding my hand wrong under her belly and makes her look a little thin but, what a head. Fished Green River on Thurs, The Cave on Sat, and caught her in a little mud puddle. I love musky fishing thanks everyone. Posts: 281 Location: ROckford IL | Got a nice 42 dragging suckers, it was pretty cold out there on the water and we had to work hard for that fish, we lost 3 others also. The thing that sucks is that I forgot my cameras at home, I took a cell phone picture but it did not come out the best, oh well, me and my friend got to see the fish.

here's a tip. buy a disposable camera with a flash at walgreens and put it in your boat to leave in there at all times..if you have camera trouble or forget your regular camera pull that one out so you have a pic of your fish.

Posts: 281 Location: ROckford IL | The most messed up part about it is that my buddie had a disposable camera with us in the boat, while we were at the gas station in Edgerton someone stole his tacklebox with all his musky lures, Disposable camera, leaders, quick strike rigs and everything, it was at the Edgerton shell gas station between 630am and 7am. He lost all the musky lures that he had collected which really sucks, they did not steal anything else but it was a hard hit for my buddie

Posts: 7 Location: Palos Hills IL / Conover WS | Fished up in the Vilas County area this past week end. Had a pretty good week end. Landed 4 . 39, 34.5, 36, and a 38 inch Tiger. All on suckers. Had action for 8 more that we didn't hook up with. Actually had a double going on suckers and my partner and I blew them both. Oh well thats Fishing. Water was actually warm where we were fishing...46 degrees. Edited by Musky_Tim 11/10/2008 8:45 PM

Dragged suckers around for six hours on Pewaukee Saturday. Not one pick up, but got snowed and rained on. Put the boat away and winterized the motor. Done for the season. Depression!!!!!!!

Posts: 21 Location: Wallingford, KY | Another licking river musky, congrats. Speaking of kinny, licking river, and the Cave, I live close to all 3 and fish them. Don't hear alot of internet talk about these places, that could be a good thing or bad, either way congrats again.
