Location: minocqua, wi. | waiting for the trailer to get fixed and then on the water all weekend trying to figure out what to do. yesterday had to lake hop and find clean water. temps. on bigger water were still low 50's and i found junk and bloom on a weed/rock lake with 38 foot max depth so either dark, dark river or clear water for me ... they're calling for the first snow ... since tuesday here it's been dry air and an east wind but last night brought the beginning of the change with full overcast and drizzle .. monday after it comes through they're calling for a 38 degree high so it looks like tonight and tomorrow should be the best with sunday being windy and nasty ...

| Depends what lake you are fishing? Where are you fishing?
I am coming to that area and I order my suckers a week in advance as they are usually sold out.
If you are fishing Deer there are two place right on Hwy 8 that have suckers, although, usually not that many.
Gen's in Amery has suckers but that is quite a bit out of the way from Deer Lake and still a bit of a drive to Bone.

Location: (South of the 218) | Heading NORTH after the missus gets home from work tonight. I'm taking my 4 year old daughter with but don't figure she's ready for Fall Fishing quite yet. So, she gets a play day with Matthew while I get a playday on 1 of 4 Bemidji area lakes. It's nice to have choices eh?

and their are actually 2 places in St. Croix Falls that could have them. I don't remember the names of them but they are both on the south side of Hwy 8.
Last weekend I struck out at Apple River Sports and Gen's, but Deer Lake Sports had a few smaller then 10lbs. |

I was at both Deer Lake Sports and St Croix outdoors on Wed and they both had a lot of large suckers. Deer lake had a better selection for size, st croix's were all really big.
