I have been glancing at the classified boat forums and I seen a few Ranger 617 DVS 's that caught my eye, now im not really familiar with all the ranger models from the past since they change so much (use to own a 690) but I was curious did they also make a 618 DVS ? I like to have some room for a couple of people between the front and rear deck and the newer 618's just dont allow that and I would like to buy something used in the 18ft category in that 115 to 150 hp range whether it be Ranger,Tuffy,Champion, or Skeeter but I need room for the family as well. But my main question here was did they make a 618 DVS.

Thanks!

According to the Ranger website they make a 618vs in a tiller model for 09', and did make a console version in 08'.
Check out the Ranger website.

no, they did not make a deep v 618 like you are thinking of..they did make a 681 console that turned into the 618 vs console but this is the lower profile , narrow almost bass style 618 they currently make...the 690 ended in 2000, and they came out with the 619/620s
in a deep, wide Ranger the type / style you are thinking of your best bet is a used 619 ..they were 19'2" by 94 or 96 to start with...they are a touch bigger now ....
you can find them for as low as about 18k for a 2000 year model in good shape...

2001 was last model year of 690, special orders only, but a number of 01's out there.
