| OK here goes,
I bought new electronics for my 620 and unfortunately the transducer that is glassed into the hull will not work with my new sonar. I need to glass the new transducer into the hull.
I have no idea even where to start so if anyone has any experience doing this before please guide me through the process. If you have a ranger I guess even better but any information would be great. Thanks

Last year ESSOX angler did an entire article on rigging boats with attention to mounting transducers in boats through the hull,,,the person who wrote it was Grampa Joe who is considered the best at rigging boats and he has a ranger 620,,,I suggest you order that back copy from essox angler and also put a post up "attn Grampa Joe" he might be able to help you and he does frequent the board at times |

Try going to www.wmi.org and goto the bassfishing site. Try posting or searching on one of the boards.

| VERY easy to do. Simply use 5 minute epoxy, coat the transducer face, and place it next to the non functional transducer you have in the boat...weight it for 5 minutes with something that will hold it in place, and you're done.[:0] |

| Worrall is right on the money. The only thing that he forgot to say was to make sure that there's no air bubbles in the epoxy. Air bubbles will reduce the effectivness of the transducer.
