I have a few questions about trolling, I have done alot of reading and see that many people prefer different types of main lines and leader materials. Many seem to prefer braid but complain about fish coming unbuttoned. I wonder if any one trolling braid has tried a snubber. I have been doing a little trolling and notice that 25lb mono actually holds up better to abrasion than 80lb power pro. I bought some 100lb florocarbon for leader material and noticed from bumping stumps it was severly abraided within one pass(one hour). Also some baits like burmeks, shallow invaders, grandmas, I can hit 6mph with no problem, but others like my swim whizz's, ss shads blow out about 4mph, I put 1lb weights ahead of them to keep them down, not sure if the fish would care for lure almost fouling often?
