I will be curious to see if there were any fish willing to bite after 70 fish were stuck in the mouth on Leech during the last tourney.

Better the mouth than the other end, I guess.

1st Place: Lee Lane & Dan Solem: 51, 50, 48 - Leech

Simply a couple of awesome sticks... dominated Vermilion AND Leech this year. They also doubled up the competition for MMTT Angler Of The Year honors.

Congratulations to Lee & Dan as well as the other anglers who did the work and caught fish!

Had a great time and hope to see you all next year! For those who are interested, don't forget to call/e-mail the Hartmans and express your interest in having the Minnetonka tournament back on the trail in 2009 (eliminated in '08 due to low participants).

Catch 'em,
Andy

Don't rememeber the rest. I do know that doubles until like 7th place. The longest fish was a 52" leech

There is no need for that Happy

It has been a tough year for most. I am sure glad to see some fish showing up. Walleyes have been the talk of town all summer.
