Subject: The Correct Type of Outboard Oil to be Used ?

I just purchased a smaller 25 HP Mercury 2 Stroke it is a 1999 Year Model. My question is can I use a synthetic oil, and mix it with the gas? I have a few gallons of This Synthetic oil that was designed to be used with Oil Injected Motors, like the Mecury OptiMax and Evinrude Fict Motors.....I would like to use this if I could,But I wanted to just make it would be ok first......Thanks Jr.
