My boat was wired only for 12v.I had room for two batteries.Been running a series positive to positive and negitive to negitive.I lost a cell on my charger.I always disconnected the link between batteries. Now if I leave it hooked up will charge both if I leave the link hooked up? Blummer

Yes. If the link is made, you can charge both batteries off of your one cell on your charger.

Since no two batteries are identical, you'll end up with either one battery under charged or worse , one battery over charged. It's better to disconnect and charge separately.
