It's going to be bigger and badder then any year so far. As of a little while ago we already had over 400 contestents signed up and it isn't even Thursday! The weather looks like it's going to be stable with some cool nights to get the fish moving shallow.

Who's going?

Treats,
With all those sticks there, they might not be any waiting on Minnetonka this weekend. Maybe I can finally catch one on my Muskie Treats.

I signed up just under the deadline and this will be my first FS tourny. Can't wait to start bright and early at 10am Friday morning. My brother and I are giving everyone a 3 hour headstart due to work scheduling. I hope the cool weather turns the bite around, rumor as it that it's been a little slow on the big chief. Best of luck to all. Duff

Have fun and good luck. I'll fish for other species while you guys get 'em riled up, and then I'll give 'em as much hell as I can muster until the 20th or 27th, depending when I want to head home.
Maroon/White Ranger Cherokee with a 75 Mariner tiller, and an old Pollack in it some place. Probably will have two labs with me all of the time. One Yellow, and a Black pup. You can even rent lures.

I was thinking of fishing it but I will not be able to get up there until mid day on Friday.

Is that to late to register to fish it?
And if not can I still do it at Reeds in Walker?

Beav, if you're going to be up there you can still come to the feeds Friday and Saturday night. We're having silent auctions and speakers at a few locations. Check out http://www.twincitiesmuskiesinc.org/tourny.php and there's some info there.

I have upto day 2, I can't down load the final results, but the fish went nuts. I believe final numbers were 170 fish caught, I know as of day 2 130 fish, leading the event had 5 fish, second had 4 fish. Sounds like a great time was had by everyone. When I get the final results we can get them up.

WOW! Leech was on Fire. Why don't more people and guides fish there?
I couldn't have just turned on for this tournament. hmm guess I will have to start fishing there too!

Leech has been tough this year, great to see it heat up. There are plenty of guides fishing the lake

I'm pretty sure Murph is a great Leech Lake guide and his reports have been it's slow most of the year.

We were up 3-4% over last year. That's pretty good considering the economy and the price of gas.

The whole area had been dead for the last couple weeks and things started picking up on Wed. It was perfect muskie weather for most of the tournament. Heck, my boat even got a 49" in the first 20 minutes!

Shawn you and everyone involved need to hear a big thank you. It was an amazing tournament and you guys did an awesome job. There is so much behind the scene that goes unnoticed. Great work to the Twin Cities Chapter and thank you for yet another amazing event!

Congrats on the 49" Hawg Bellie.

Finally some cold weather to get them Cass Muskies Moving.

Boy it looks like it was good fishing !!!

Unfortunately due to work and death in family, we could not make it.

Would have been nice to see Teddy on his rock again.

Will be up for 6 weeks, Sept 15 - Oct 29

Looks like Hartmans is Full for Sept 20 Tournament, we will be there, but probably not participating unless an opening comes up.
