This will probably be my last weekend to musky fish as deer season will be taking priority from here on out....
but the forecast is calling for some high winds.

do i fish the windy side or calm side?

should i fish good spots on both?
ug....

im gonna go regardless, but not sure if wind affects fall fishing at all.

thanks!!!

I usually contact a higher number of fish on the windy side, but don't be afraid to check the calm pools off of points or the edges of islands as active fish will sometimes hold there just out of the wind looking to ambuse your lure.

The only rule is that there are no rules, and the best time to go is when you can!
Having said that I spend the majority of my time in the most riled up water that I can find!
If there are major transition zones between calm and wind blown water, I fish the transition as if it is a piece of structure.
