Location: Mauston, Wisconsin

Took Jazzy, Xavier, & Hunter over to local river swimming & exploring. Two years ago I saw a pair of muskies doing the spawning ritual during higher water in some willows etc. Female 40-42 & male 30-32.

~ 30 yds downstream, Hunter (7) jumps into a 2-3 ft "hole" & out pops a little 7-8" muskie. I'm standing in a foot of water watching her/him from ~ 4 feet away- beautiful muskie bar markings-definitely not a pike.
