Location: Browerville, Minnesota		YES IT IS TRUE!!!!!!! I just got the official word that Operation Muskie 2009 is a go. Stay tuned and I will be putting out some more information on this later today!! We will be looking for 20 more veterans for the fishing trip of a lifetime on beautiful LOTW!!!

It might be a good idea, if the concept doesn't offend anyone involved, to invite a reporter from MuskieFIRST to support and cover the event.

i was there for this year's event, but as one of the veterans who was lucky enough to go on the trip! understandably, i was focused on just enjoying the experience and not "working" to cover and report on things.

MuskieFirst has offered editorial, publicity, and video support for Op Muskie from the start.
if offered, i'm sure any of us from MuskieFirst would be happy to attend next year's event in a "working" capacity to add even more depth.

Pete Maina had his cameraman along this year and the event will be the focus of an upcoming episode of "The Next Bite" television show, so you can look for that to get more coverage of this year's trip.

Okay........here is a little more information on OM for 2009!

The host resort will once again be Walsh's Bay Store Camp on beautiful LOTW. 

DATES:  We will arrive  on 29 June and leave the morning of 3 July.  These are prime dates, as the Ontario season will have only been open for a week. 

VETS:  We are looking for 20 new vets to bring on this outing.  If you are a vet of Afghanistan, Iraq, or the Balklans, come on and join us.  If you need any further information, please email me at [email protected].  If you are looking for references, I am sure any of the vets that went this year would be more than happy to let you know how much fun this was.  It is truly the fishing trip of fishing trips with some of the most knowledgable men in the musky world as yours guides.
