Posts: 129 Location: Glenmoore PA | Does any body have any tips on how to repair a bucktail. The hairs are falling out from a lot of use. I dont want to throw them away. Should I use some sort of a super glue to keep the hairs from pulling out? Thanks for your help!

Posts: 2865 Location: Brookfield, WI | You can tie hair? You hear that, Lambeau? You could have tied it in place before you just gave up and shaved off what was left. Kevin 76. Two Doubles, Five Bogeys, Six Pars, and Five Birdies. What a ride.

You can tie hair? You hear that, Lambeau? You could have tied it in place before you just gave up and shaved off what was left. i saw a guy at the Brewers game today with "tied" cornrows. i don't think that would be a good look for me... 6-2 Saturday, 4-3 in 12 Sunday pretty good weekend to spend at Miller Park! oh yeah, bucktail hair...i tried the superglue it in place move a couple years ago. it makes things worse, not better. if the hair is mostly still in place you can try tying new more thread over the existing ties, i've done that a time or two to salvage a bucktail.

Posts: 159 Location: Stevens Point, WI | There are a few tackle guys making replacement hooks with hair on them, already with a good split ring. That's what i've been doing this year and find the $1.50 pre-fab part is often better than the original. Easier than tying, and dirt cheap!
