I don't believe this but wanted to see if anybody has any info. I heard a rumor that a 65" muskie was found in the Point flowage this week when they drained the flowage to work on the dam. Didn't hear whether dead or alive, but i guess the dnr may have been involved from the story i heard. I hate to be that guy posting muskie rumors, but couldn't resist following this one up...

Someone called me today because they thought i would have the story. Doesn't seem like too many people have heard about this, though. You'd think word of a 65 inch musky would spread faster than this, so it doesn't look good.

Yeah, right...I talked to a guy who knows a guy who worked a tagging program on skis in the river system in central WI and says they floy tagged a 60 incher....Such fish would be ALL OVER the musky community here around the Cent. WI ....NOT TRUE or everyone around here would know about it. Secrets like that do not keep.
