Location: Maple Grove | I have a 2000 135hp opti. After I start the motor all 4 lights come on and it beeps briefly then goes off. To be clear this is after I turn the key and it does the test prior to starting. The engine is running at this point. I went through my manual but can't seem to understand what it's trying to tell me. Any thoughts?
Also, where can a guy get his hands on opti oil in the Twin Cities?
Thanks. |

Location: Maple Grove | Yep, I know it's normal for all four lights to flash when the key is first turned to the "on" position. This is the test to let you know system is good. However, after I start the motor they all come back on again and the warning tone sounds albeit briefly. |

| You can buy the Opti oil in bulk at Marine Max. I got 6 gallons at a pretty good clip. You need to have your own container. This was at the Rogers store.

Location: Maple Grove | Thanks Jay.
I've been doing some digging and I think it might actually be a battery issue. It generally happens after I have been running the electronics for a while without running the motor. I had a batt issue earlier in the year, I think it is just getting old. Time to replace. |
