Anyone fishing these lakes at all lately? Last year the thread had about 85 replies and nothing going on from what I've heard this year. Anyone have any word? I usually take 4 days at Pine Grove and pound Bone in early October. Granted October and late August are two totally different things, but how has the bite been?

The bite has been a little slow so far this year . The annual Indianhead State tournament was just held over the 16th and 17th with 16 Muskies being measured. Big fish on Bone was 44 5/8". Mostly bucktails but a couple on jerkbaits and Bulldawgs also 1 or 2 on a jig. Not much of a pattern that I could see. Just chunk and wind and try to be on the right spot at the right time I guess. We only managed to get a couple short fish. Idon't know is this is much help but is about all the info I have at this time.

Thanks, Mike. Any info is appreciated. I'm hoping we have water temps in the 50's that first week in October so the sucker bite takes off. We always do better in cold falls on that body of water.
