I got a set for my Ranger off ebay for cheap a while back. I don't worry much about fenders on the dock, but LSC is a very "social" lake with all kinds of raft-ups and parties out on the lake, so I got a couple for the occasions when I do raft up. I like mine because they follow the contour of the boat and sit right at the rub rail. I've got a couple of conventional inflatable ones as well should I need them, but they hang differently, so it depends on what I'm literally going to be up against.

Which model of fender do you have, the regular or deep V? What Ranger do you have. I am just trying to get the right fit for my 620.

I have a 200C, which is a 620 hull. Here's what I got-
