background: Just bought humminbird GPS Graph with external GPS ... I now have the white GPS puck to install on the boat. The bottom part of the puck is open and wires are exposed. because I am mounting it flush to the interior of boat with wire coming out the side as oppose to drilling thro aluminum

For boats where you can't hide the wire underneath, this is how your suppose to use it. Which is my predictmanet

Question:

Do you glue this and then seal it up for no moisture? And locations, I've seen the white puck towards the transom? Probably where I will start.

Whoa!!! What do you mean by: "because I am mounting it flush to the interior of boat". Just do a search here on MF for "GPS Puck Mounting". The Puck is the antenna, it needs to mounted where it has a free view of the "sky". I'd call Humminbird & ask them for recommendations based on your specific boat model before I drilled hole #1........
