What do you recommend as the best rod for shooting regular bulldawgs? Can you get away with a 7.6 St. Croix mh or are you putting to much stress on the blank?

I love my 8 foot St Croix Premier for the regular dawgs. Go with at least an 8 footer if you can.

I do have the money for an eight footer right now, but what about the 7'6'' is it enough rod with out stressing the blank?

I am sure that length would work just fine. I used to throw them on a 7'2" mh rod with no problem at all.
