Posts: 100 | Two years ago the fish were up on the rocks and other lures would get follows but the money bait was a small all orange musky killer. It has the advantage of not taking up much room if youR going light. The corrilation was seeing numbers of crawfish on the rocks, obviously a guess, but judging by the delay in the summer progression it may be a value to have a few. It'll look small to the normal lures, but that week 12 of fifteen Muskies came on this one beat to heck lure. All fish were above 38 but none bigger than 45. Eight were on the figure 8. KARL

Posts: 2361 | 55esox - 7/28/2008 9:56 PM Here's a game to try. Start out with an equal amount of rods between the two of you and put whatever lures on you want. The first guy to break down and change a lure coughs up $10 bucks. Some people don't last an hour. That being said, list looks good. LOL, I'd get in on this one! Suggestion though for anybody going up, if you do this with Doug, you'll end up payin out $10.

| I just packed my box for LOTW, this will be trip #10 Aug 2-9. Down to one box but like other indicated I'll probably only use about 6 lures. Double 10's (bunch of colors-lots of black on black) Weagle Bulldawgs (pounders and mags) 9" Grandma 8" Reef Hawg Hellhounds Hawg Teaser Suick (10" 1 weighted, 1 unweighted) Top raiders (super and reg) Creeper Boss Hawg Shallow invader (perch and walleye) Rad Dog spinnerbaits Jointed Depthraider (pikie, night shiner) Wow, when you write it down-it seems like alot...oh, well. Over the trips my group has caught fish on all the aformentioned lures. Good luck! I hope you catch a 50 a day. jordan | |||
