Location: NYC (and many weeks in MN during summer)
I have been meaning to write this for 2 weeks now, but I have been busy on a fishing trip in MN.

Before I left NY, I placed an order through Rollie and Helens. I ordered a few curly sues. They called me a few days later saying they were out of the color and sizes I was looking for.

I went direct to the Shack Attack website and proceeded to order 5 or 6 baits. At the end of the check out, I find they don't take Amex, the only card I use. I was going to give up, but instead decided to call Andy. He was VERY friendly and took a lot of time with me discussing what colors he had. I waspn a TIGHT time. I was leaving NY for MN in just a few days and I needed these baits before I hit the water.

Not only did he agree to immediately manufacture the colors I wanted, he told me he was just starting to tinker with 9" curly swirly sues and that he would make some original, hot off the press swirlies for me.

We were running out of time and everything had to be fedexed. He told me he would evensend the lures as the payment was on its way. I appreciated that bit would NEVER want anyone to send me somehong before they recieved payment from me.

Needless to say, he overnighted the lures to my MN address and they arrived just in time for me to leave the twin cities and head north.

Anyway, I wanted EVERYONE to know that Andy is an asset to both this board and an OUTSTANDING vendor to the Muskie community.

Ps; didn't catch one with his lures, but got a follow by the biggest fish of the trip. I fish so big (over 55"?) that it made my 51 1/2" PB look likes nipper. Followed his baby bass color!!!

I'll echo those comments. I lost a show color Curly Sue that I fell in love with when a snap opened up as I tried to pop the bait free from a snag. Wrote Andy an email to see if he could add the color to his "custom colors" lineup on his website. He told me he would pour some that night and to place my order that night in a different color, then he'd recognize my name and send the new bait off. It arrived a couple days later... with a sticker to boot (now proudly displayed on my laptop)!

Keep it up, Andy! It's great to finally see tackle companies taking care of the folks that make their businesses a success!
