Anyone had this problem, or any suggestions?
When I turn on the unit, instead of the color display appearing, several black vertical lines show up, and sometimes blink or move around.
this came out of nowhere, for no apparent reason. Any suggestions?

You probably got water in the unit. Try calling customer service.
